The Ostrich Wing Awning concept was conceived back in 2008 around a camp fire in the Central Kalahari after a particularly hot and sunny day. It was decided from the outset that the product had to stand up to real ‘hardcore’ overland applications. There have been numerous design tweaks and various accessories added over the years but the basic idea is still as originally conceived.

The awning is such a great concept that it has been ‘copied’ by many other manufacturers to varying degrees of success. It is extremely reassuring when we are continually reminded by customers that the Ostrich Wing is superior.

Side panels can easily be zipped into position without having to struggle with Velcro.

QUALITY CANVAS SPEC
The awning is made from UV Resistant, rot-proof, 380gms rip-block canvas with sealed seams.
NO POLES REQUIRED
Although a single pole is supplied as standard, it is not required unless it gets windy.
